The time is almost here as our tour gets closer and closer. Tour runs from Thursday, March 28th to Sunday, March 31st. When we return they will go into spring break and will not have to go to school the next day. Yay!

Payments start in September and continue monthly through February. Initial deposit of $100 is due September 7th. Please include the SF Tour Deposit Notice in the envelope with the first payment. Payment schedule is listed in the choir’s Google calendar listed on the Lone Hill Middle School choir page of this website. Select that page in the MENU at the top of this page. All payments should be by cash or check made payable to Lone Hill Band Boosters. We cannot accept credit cards.
Payments: September 7th, October 4th, November 2nd, December 7th, January 11th and February 8th. Trip must be paid in full by the Feb 8th payment. Future payment amounts will be determined by the actual total once people have confirmed if they are going before the October payment is due.
Final payments must be made by February. Approximate price is around $650 which covers the luxury charter buses and drivers, hotel, all activities (Golfland, Band Festival, Boat Cruise, Great America, etc.) and most meals. They will buy their own fast food lunches on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and dinner in San Francisco Friday night. All other meals are included. The exact amount depends on how many students go. After the initial deposit, I will be able to give a final number.
This trip is optional. I will need at least 16 chaperones to come with us to help with supervision of the choir members. They will need to pay as well, but the chaperone price is different. If you want to chaperone, send me an email and I will give you the details.
There is a grade requirement for this trip. Students cannot have any F’s, N’s or U’s and have at least a 2.0 GPA on their Fall semester report card in December. If they are disqualified for their grades, you will receive a refund of any money you have already paid. Please help them check their grades regularly to avoid being left off the trip.
Since this trip runs right up to the start of their spring break, if you are planning and traveling on your own up in the bay area and wish to keep your child with you when we leave, that can be arranged with the Lone Hill office with a special form that is approved by the Vice Principal. If you wish to do that, the only pick up time will be at the hotel Sunday morning before we leave to return home. Only a parent may pick the student and you will need to sign that you are taking responsibility for them from that point on. No other pick up times will be available. Please make sure you can get to our hotel that morning to pick them up if you are planing on this option.
If there are any questions or concerns, please email me. I would love to see as many kids go as possible. I have been doing these tours with middle school kids for many years, so please know that your kids will be in good hands and well taken care of.
Sincerely,
Jared Pugh
